Trade show marketing death spiral
Are you in a trade show marketing death spiral?
In Seth Godin's post Death Spiral, he states:
The newspaper has fewer advertisers, so they can't invest as much in running stories, so people stop reading it, which means advertisers have less reason to advertise which leaves less money for stories...
Is your business declining? Are you pulling out of trade shows? Are you cutting staff training? The result is less qualified leads for your sales staff. Is your sales staff closing at the same rate? You are in a trade show marketing death spiral.
Now is the time to focus on your trade show strategy with speed of execution in mind.
- Do you have an integrated trade show and inbound marketing strategy?
- Do you agree that an expensive trade show display does not mean results?
- Do you know how to get free money for trade show training?
- Do you know how to cut your trade show budget and sacrifice nothing?
- Are you aware that thank you notes build relationships and help close sales?
- How would you answer, "What is messaging?"
In engineering, WORK is defined as FORCE applied to an object causing it to travel a DISTANCE. Success is not a straight path. It requires WORK. The joy is in the journey (DISTANCE) and reflecting on the satisfaction of the WORK done. If you need more FORCE, read the links or jason [at] expovantage [dot] com (contact me). I am glad to help.
